Tomato Cream Soup – Recipe:

200 g celeriac
2 carrots
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
3 tbsp olive oil
1 bay leaf
2 tbsp tomato paste
750 ml vegetable stock
1 can of tomatoes (800 g each)
Salt
pepper
sugar
4 tablespoons cream
Preparation; German tomato cream soup
Peel and dice the celery. Clean, peel and cut the carrots into pieces. Peel onion and garlic and chop finely.
Heat oil in a pot. Fry the celery, carrots, onions, garlic and bay leaves for 2-3 minutes. Add tomato paste and sauté briefly. Add the broth and canned tomatoes and simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes.
Finely puree the soup, season with salt, pepper and sugar. Arrange the cream of tomato soup in bowls and garnish each with 1 tablespoon of cream.
