12 people were killed and 3 injured in a gun attack on a bar in Mexico. The police think the attack was a showdown between the cartels.
An armed attack was carried out at night at the bar called “La Texana” in the city of Irapuato, located in the Mexican state of Guanajuato. It was stated that 12 people lost their lives and 3 people were injured in the attack. Eyewitnesses said that several men in ski masks came to the bar and opened fire on the people inside with automatic weapons. While some customers managed to escape by escaping through the back door of the bar at the time of the attack, it was reported that the wounded survived by hiding among the corpses.
In a statement made by the Guanajuato State Attorney General’s Office, it was stated that an investigation into the attack was launched and investigations were carried out at the scene.
