Claim confirmed: 80-year-old Harrison Ford is in the Marvel universe

Rumors about Hollywood star Harrison Ford have come true. Known for its news from the entertainment industry, Deadline confirmed that the famous actor has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MSE).

After William Hurt, who played General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, passed away in March, rumors spread that Ford would replace him. Journalist Jeff Sneider said on The Hot Mic podcast on October 13 that the famous actor was certain to enter MSE.

The character that Ford will bring to life will also appear in Captain America: New World Order, which will be released on May 3, 2024. Captain America: New World Order, which will be released on May 3, 2024, includes Ford, Anthony Mackie, Shira Haas, Tim Blake Nelson and Carl Lumbly.

Oscar winner Hurt, who was battling pancreatic cancer, died on March 13 at the age of 71.
