Simple apple pie from the springform pan is one of the most popular cake recipes. From just a few ingredients such as apples, flour, eggs and vanilla pudding powder, a dough is made in about 15 minutes, which in just under 45 minutes bakes into what is probably the most delicious apple pie in the world. By the way, it tastes best with local apples!
150g butter or margarine
150 grams of sugar
1 pinch(s) of salt
2 eggs (size M)
1 pack vanilla flavor custard powder (for cooking)
250 g flour
3 teaspoons, leveled baking powder
5 tbsp milk
fat and flour for the mold
Powdered sugar for dusting
Preparation 60 minutes
1. Peel and quarter the apples, cut out the core and dice the flesh.
2. Beat the fat, sugar and salt with the hand mixer until white and creamy. Beat in eggs one at a time.
3. Mix custard powder, flour and baking powder. Fold the flour mixture and milk alternately into the batter. Fold the apples into the batter. Pour the batter into a greased, floured springform pan (26 cm Ø) and smooth out. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes.
4. Take the cake out of the oven, let it cool down on a wire rack and remove it from the tin. Dust with powdered sugar.
